A beautiful day at Clear Creek between the town of Empire and Berthoud Pass. The sky was mostly cloudy which made for some very nice tonal quality of the images.

May 2015 has been the second coldest and rainiest month of May on record. Here’s some shots from Belmar Park (Lakewood, CO) of the day’s thunder head barreling in. For the last three weeks we’ve hardly seen the sun. This day there was a couple of hours of sun but then we were socked in again.
May at City Floral, Denver
Happened upon City Floral Garden Center last weekend. Wow, what amazing colors. Overflowing with flowers and plants ready for Spring planting. I ended up taking these shots with my cell phone as my usual camera was not with me.

Photos 2014 Ridgeway
I added a new photo gallery under the “Photos” menu called “Photos 2014 Ridgeway“. These were taken during this year’s plein air painting trip which was held in Ridgeway, CO, and surrounding areas, including Ouray, Red Mountain Pass, and Telluride. In reviewing the photos I noticed that there was a lot of moisture in the air creating a blueish haze on the distant peaks.
When you select a thumbnail in the gallery it will take you to an enlarged photo, from there you can click on the enlargement to go to the ‘next’ photo in the gallery. Also, above each enlargement is a magnifying glass icon 
(see example to left) which you can click on to get a full screen enlargement which is especially nice for the panorama shots. Note that if you click on the magnifier to get to the full screen image you can only get back to the standard sized photo by using your browser’s (e.g. Firefox’s) back button. Photos 2014 Chihuly
Went to see the Dale Chihuly glass sculptures at the Denver Botanic Gardens. It is an exceptional display.

New: Photos 2011 + NY + Santa Fe
Added three new sets of photos: Photos 2011, Photos 2011 NY, and Photos 2011 Santa Fe. Just to let you know, I’m moving my galleries off of my Pbase site and on to my InaSphere site which is why there’s so much activity here.
