Small GALLERY of today’s photos. Milkweed seeds of Fall.
View GALLERY. A short late afternoon walk around Belmar Park as the sun was going down. This was the day before the freeze so much of the leaves fell soon after that. There’s three dual-monitor wide panoramas in the gallery.
Went to two open houses of two of Denver’s historic buildings in the Highlands Ranch area. The “Lumber Baron Inn” is currently being run as a bed and breakfast. See the GALLERY.
Took advantage of a (slightly) cooler day and went to stroll around the Denver Botanical Gardens. Here’s the GALLERY.
We had a great trip to Santa Fe to visit friends who always know the best places to go. We went to Pecos National Historical Park and the town of Madrid. Click HERE to go to the gallery.
See photos of Ford Model AA Trucks in this GALLERY. I spent the afternoon with a good friend who’s into restoring these vintage vehicles.
HERE are some photos from my recent trip to NY. I started out the trip by buying a new lightweight camera for traveling; an Olympus E-M10mark3 with a 12-42mm (2x) collapsible lens. It takes 16 mega-pixel photos and 4k/UHD videos. I’m very pleased with the results and very impressed with its 5-axis in-body image stabilization.
I didn’t get out for shooting as much as I would have liked but we did visit two beautiful places, Clark Garden, and Bay Park on Hewlett Bay.
See GALLERY. Neighborhood near the University of Arizona campus, one of the nicer parts of town. I’m impressed by the variety and sizes of the cacti. Only saw two houses with irrigated lawns.
See GALLERY. Many types of desert plants. The saguaros are the most noticeable as some of them reach as high as 15′ and are several hundred years old.
